| Kind of a mixed bag today |

Lets see. Have a good line on a new job at Dland. Kind of not the job I want mostly grunt mechanic work. Also the area is very limited to just the rides in Paradise Pier in DCA. As a bonus, I might have to, on the rare occasion, walk on the tubular track in any kind of weather. I might be able to transfer to something more to my liking latter down the road.
In other news, my friend is now ignoring me online as well. I have the distinction of being avoided in both cyberspace and meatspace. |

Well I am here with my family in for the weekend. So far I haven't done much but sleep. We are planing to see Episode III today then my Brother-in-law's birthday party. |

Yesterday I slept. That is just about it. Got home from work about 10:50 AM, did some internet time, turned on some music then plonk! I was out untill 9;30 PM And I could have slept more. |

Lets recap. Last Fri, after the utter failure of Thursday, I went out for a drink. Got myself mildly wasted and walked home. Wake up Saturday, I can not find my glasses. It's not any any of the usual places so I try the unusual. No good.
Tonight I wanted to watch a movie. Had to lean forward to the screen clearer. When I moved the TV I heard something. I look on the floor and I find (cue fanfare) MY GLASSES. I am sure I could have found my glasses if I was wearing them. |

I have another Eye appointment at 2:15. Thinking about contats. Something just occurred to me. Contact lenses are lenses that are in "contact" with your eye.

Just sitting here with the window open, watching the rain and listing to the thunder. Am I glad I'm not working tonight.
So I went out to get me a little drink tonight. I mean come on, how busy can it be on a Thursday night. Yeah, so not very smart I know. The whole Drinko de Mayo thing took me by surprise. The Contentel Room was full as were most of the others. Sure there was plenty of trollops running around, thats good stuff. Don't know whats up but my hermit tenincys are taking over. It is so crowded and loud.
Ill get back out there... at some point. |

Got home from work exhausted. So I lay down. Nothing. Watch TV, the sound often does the trick. I remember at lest 2 hours passing before I drop off. Then I am awake by 5 o'something. Lay about till about 6:00, so I figure might as well clean the school now. Come back and nothing. My alarm just went off. I'm so tired but still can't sleep.

I got an offer to make some quick change. All I needed to do was move some crap from a house and into storage crates parked in the driveway. $30.00/hr for 7 hours. Biggest slob ever but it is done.
And tomorrow, I pick up my new (to me) bed. I won't get to sleep in a bed tonight so I better start drinking. Perhaps I am turning into a lush? I'm to buzzed most often to be concerned about it. |

I can't sleep. Got home, slept until about 2:00 and I haven't been able to sleep since. The bed situation is about to change this weekend. I am going to buy a twin mattress from someone at work and hopefully the shoulder thing will pass. I am such a wuss I know but a crick in my sholder that lasted more than a week is way enough. |

My apartment is clean! OK, maybe not clean by any normal standards, but being just messy is better than dirty.
So the little school I work at is having an Irish theme this month. The science project is a potato in water so it will sprout sort of thing. Somehow the experiment has gone all wrong. I cleaned out the potato water, and let me tell you *gag* (literally, almost lost it big time) I aint doing it again.
And it is spring break. That means I can park in front of my house. |

I got my power restored on Tuesday. Yaay! Now I owe ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) redtastic a big chunck of change.
I also called in sick last night. Well not accualy called.
Was feeling sick on the way to work last night. Clocked in and
went straght to the bathroom. I hate being sick in pubic
bathrooms. Went to the office and started the paper work and had
to tell my boss I had to go home. Left the office and stoped off
at the restroom. I am worried. That is 2 call in's in one
month. Not good for me profesonally, ya know.
This week end I plan to clean, and clean like mad.

1) Energy Crisis: No power at my apartment. I owe SoCA Edison a $200.00 deposit for bounced checks from last summer. How dumb am I? I should have taken control of finances last spring.
2) Anger Manegement: Being both broke AND angry, I wanted to spend too much money and get drunk. So I met up at a local bar (Stubrics) with my neighbors Rob and Tim. They were there playing darts with...
3) Doug and Kathy: Nice people. Doug is early to mid 40's 5'9" ex-cop and securty. Kathy is mid 20's college student, 5'11" college student. Long story short, almost got my ass kicked by some jilted ex-cop while sitting next to a long stair case. Same question as above, how dumb am I?
4) Last Call: After Rob and Tim have setteled the bill by paying with cash, I am still at the bar trying to get a pen. Bar fight averted.

2004 is now just a memory and I am excited to see what 2005 has to
bring. The 31st started very rainy here in sunny California.
Started about 4:00 in the morning and was steady until about 11:00.
For New years eve, my 18 year old niece wanted to spend the night on
the Los Vegas strip with some friends. My sister was less than excited
about the nights activities. I suggested Disneyland and both the girls
and my sister liked the idea. I gave them passes for the park and
on the way to Disneyland she had a flat. Did I mention I live 5
miles away from Disneyland. Turns out, making U-turns and
slamming into curbs can have negative results. The tire itself
was OK but
the aluminum wheel lost a chunk and that was that. I went over
there and changed the tire (luckily it had a full spare) and she is on
her merry way. Note to self; a resolution for this year replace
spare tire on wagon.
I am feeling positive about this year. I think it will be
difficult and no doubt some will be unpleasant but also challenging and
I am
hopeful that the New Year will bring a more active Chris and a more
responsible Chris. (conjunction junction whats your
funnnction.
Holy crap look at that run on sentence)

| Greetings from Vegas |

Boulder City to be exact. Last night and I could use a comfy night in
my couch bed. I spent the first night with my sister Lisa and the other
two here with Cindy and my parents. Good times.
Cloudy has enjoyed all the attention of hanging out with the other
dogs, well most of the attention. He actually growled at Max, Lisa's
dog to get him to back off. My nieces and nephews all so grown
up. They're all so big and with jobs and driving and
everything. Then at dinner on Sunday, something happened with
Katie, and I was reminded that she is only 16. Still so young.
I made out like a bandit. 2 pairs of Levis, a sweater, Ugg like
boots, a reindeer that poops brown jelly-bellys, and the extended
"Return of the King"
Well I will be leaving between Noon to 2:00 today. All and all a good trip.
